The Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Metrology Index (BASMI) measures spinal mobility and comprises of 5 clinical measurements. This form allows you to record and calculate a patient’s score. For further information on how to perform each of the assessments please refer to the Axial SpA Assessment Academy toolkit booklet
The Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Global Score (BAS-G) is used to assess the effect a patient’s disease has had on their well-being over the last week. This form allows you to record a patient’s BAS-G score
The Ankylosing Spondylitis Quality of Life (ASQoL) is used to assess quality of life and can be used to say assess the impact of a patient's treatment. This leaflet allows you to record and calculate a patient’s score.
The Work Productivity and Activity Impairment (WPAI) is used to assess the effect of a disease on work productivity and limit in daily activity. This form allows you to record and calculate a patient’s score
The Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Score (ASDAS) is a composite index to assess disease activity in AS. This can be calculated using CRP or ESR.
